2018 Ford F-150 Engines

3.0-liter Power Stroke® Turbo-Diesel
This new diesel alternative is one of the most significant changes the brand has made to the F-150 over the past few years. The available diesel engine has 250 horsepower at 3,250 RPM and best-in-class torque of 440 lb-ft at 1,750 RPM. This engine also has a best-in-class EPA-estimated mileage of 30 highway mpg in addition to its impressive performance.*
The tuned 3.5-liter engine comes with 375 horsepower and best-in-class 470 lb-ft of torque. As the second generation of this specific engine, Ford engineers have taken extra care to optimize performance. There’s a new port fuel and direct-injection system, a twin-turbo system, and a modified air intake port, too.
The 2.7-liter engine also has a new port fuel and direct-injection system and a new high-strength graphite iron material for the upper block. This engine can generate up to 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
3.3-liter TI-VCT V6
This engine is also new for the 2018 model year, with twin independent variable cam timing to help provide precision performance. This engine can generate 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of toque thanks to a new direct-injection system.
5.0-liter TI-VCT V8
A larger version of the 3.3-liter engine, the 5.0-liter engine delivers 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. It also has a special CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package for those who want to convert to autogas.
Raptor 3.5-liter EcoBoost®
The Raptor DOHC 24-valve high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine generates 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Intense power is developed thanks to a twin-turbocharged and intercooled engine, as well as a port fuel and direct-injection engine system.
