2020 Jeep Wrangler | Owego, NY
The Jeep® Wrangler has long been regarded as the most capable off-road vehicle you can get. For 2020, the Wrangler comes with a new menu of powertrain options and a few other updates. Here is what you can expect to find in the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler.
The 2020 Wrangler is available in four trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon.
New Powertrain Options
The Sport and Rubicon models come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque is available. Both of these engines are available on the Sahara model with mild hybrid eTorque technology. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque will be available later in the model year.
Advanced Safety Group
The available Advanced Safety Group has been updated with the addition of automatic high beams for when the Wrangler is also equipped with the 8.4-inch navigation Uconnect® system.
The Sport model is now available with LED headlamps and fog lamps.
Other 2020 Highlights
Along with these updates for the 2020 model year, the Jeep® Wrangler comes with a variety of great features. The Sky One-touch powertop lets you open up the Wrangler’s roof with one push of a button. You can use it at speeds up to 60 mph.
Just like previous years, the 2020 Wrangler offers unbeatable off-road equipment. It comes with a best-in-class 44-degree approach angle, a departure angle of 37 degrees, and 10.9 inches of ground clearance.
The Command-Trac® part-time two-speed transfer case comes with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. This transfer case comes standard on the Sport and Sahara models along with advanced Dana® front and rear axles. An available limited-slip rear differential can give the Wrangler extra torque and traction when driving on sand, snow, or mud.
