Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology

Ford Co-Pilot360™ is one of the most comprehensive suites of advanced driver-assist and active safety technologies on the market, with features that help you maneuver on tight city streets, tow big loads in your pickup truck, stay safer on the highway, and everything in between.

Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert

BLIS® keeps an eye on areas that aren’t easily visible. The system detects and alerts you to vehicles in your blind spots. Cross-Traffic Alert detects oncoming vehicles while you reverse out of parking spaces.

Lane-Keeping System

The Lane-Keeping System is designed to combat inattentiveness and fatigue. The technology scans the vehicle’s position and lane markers. If the vehicle starts to drift out of its lane, the system alerts you to take corrective action.

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking

Pre-Collision Assist with AEB is ideal for you if you experience traffic on your daily commute. The system monitors the road and warns you of possible dangers like other vehicles and pedestrians. Automatic Emergency Braking will slow the vehicle down if a collision is imminent and you fail to react.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering helps you handle stop-and-go traffic. The system maintains a set speed like normal cruise control. If the vehicle ahead slows down or stops, Adaptive Cruise Control technology will adjust the car’s speed accordingly. Once the road clears or other vehicles resume their speed, the system will do the same. The Lane Centering technology scans lane markings and helps keep the vehicle inline.

Evasive Steering Assist

Evasive Steering Assist helps you to circumvent an impact by providing additional steering support. If the system detects a sudden need to change positions to avoid the vehicle in front of you, the steering system will become more responsive to your input.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps

Auto High-Beam Headlamps are designed to help avoid blinding oncoming drivers with your headlights. The technology automatically dims the headlights when it detects light moving towards the vehicle. Your hands never need to leave the wheel to make the adjustment.

Rear View Camera

The Rear View Camera acts like an extra pair of eyes and provides you with an improved perspective of objects behind the vehicle. A clear image appears on the touch-screen display while the vehicle is in reverse.

Active Park Assist 2.0

Active Park Assist 2.0 is a must-have when you’re driving the big city, where finding parking spots is tricky and parallel parking can be trickier. This feature will help you locate a spot big enough for your Ford vehicle and even park it for you with the press of a button. Just put it in Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button.

Reverse Brake Assist

Reverse Brake Assist helps you avoid collisions while in reverse. This driver-assist feature detects vehicles behind you, both stationary and moving, and alerts you to hit the brakes. If you don’t brake in time, the system can engage the brakes for you, and it can detect vehicles crossing behind you going as fast as 37 mph.

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage extends the regular Blind Spot Information System® all the way to the trailer you’re towing. If you’ve ever towed a boat or camper and you found it hard to tell if you had the space to change lanes, BLIS® with Trailer Coverage makes it easy.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist

Driving in reverse when you have a trailer attached isn’t the easiest thing, which is where Pro Trailer Backup Assist comes in. Just enter the dimensions of your trailer, press the Trailer Backup button, and rotate the knob, and the system will move your trailer in that direction, taking out the usual guesswork.

Hill Descent Control

Hill Descent Control senses when you’re going down a hill and uses traction control technology to automatically engage the brakes, preventing your vehicle from gaining speed as you go down. This is especially vital when you’re towing a trailer. Hill Descent Control lets you set a preferred speed and take your feet off the pedals so you can concentrate on the steering.
